It takes marketing and PR to a whole new level.

Re: WOMMA: Day 1 Takeaways

RE: #3
Every time I do a presentation on social media, I *always* include a slide that says "Social Media AKA Web 2.0, Conversational Media, Two-Way Web, Emerging Media, New Media, etc." Basically, I'm making the point that we may call it different names, but we're talking about the *same thing*. I do this for housekeeping, mainly, but it always amazes me to see the sighs of relief that visibly emanate from the audience.

Glad to see that things have perked up, Jake, and that you're enjoying yourself.

Disclosure: I was the #2 at WOMMA for a long time. I'm not anymore, but still remain a huge fan and friend.

Michael E. I'm looking forward to the rest of Day 2.

Re: WOMMA: Day 1 Takeaways

Really great round-up. We posted on WOMM on Tuesday about this very tension between those that get it, and those that don't. We are indeed in a very interesting time.

I look forward to day 2 coverage! Thanks, Jake!
