I suggest using linked in, I got several good leads there.

As far a Job Description goes...my current one reads somthing like:

* Actively moderate Content, Comments in profiles, chat and message boards.

* Flag inappropiate content for review or deletion.

* Oversee banning/reinstatement of members, using online adminstrative tools.

I'm looking for a community manager position. I have years of experience as a direct marketer and have managed a blog for my employer.

Jake, I'd love to see a job description for a community manager role. A client is preparing to create the role and has asked for input. I poked around a bit and didn't find any job descriptions that I thought were relevant.

I don't know if you have a list of Community Marketing folks around. If not, Jeremiah Owyang (web-strategist.com/blog) might name a few folks for consideration.
