Community Guy: More cool moderation services

We've worked with Keibi and find it is a great moderation platform. Certainly one of the best in the market. While it is great technology, it still doesn't replace the need for our team.

    Hi Jake,

We're using Keibi with a couple of our clients and while it started off as an image filtering tool (bringing the most likely to be pornographic content to the top) it's actually matured into a pretty impressive moderation platform. We've actually partnered with Keibi now so I don't get accused of bias - but we only partner with people we think are good!

The tools can make human moderators more effecient and they have a lot of quality assurance and auditing built in which is good for the moderation team *and* the client.

I echo Keith's view (waves at Keith) that the ultimate solution involves a really good tool combined with really good people whether you outsource or not, it's all about the staff ;)

I also echo the prior comments.

While tools can make people more efficient, human touch and observations can not be undervalued. We are also leveraging the Keibi tool, but it is in addition to and not in replacement of, of our Moderation team. The Keibi team is also a great team to work with, as they truly "Get It".
You also mention the "maturation" of Moderation services. While tools have made us more efficient, we have also seen an increase in our teams taking a more "proactive" approach within some communities, actively participating and interacting with the members, as well as taking on a more active role in communicating directly with our clients.
