Community Guy: Logo Contest!

3 and 5 for me...if you want to retain a little similarity to your old logo then 3 - but i like th big 'G'...

Your designer buddy is quite good. They all look nice. However, some work for me and others don't.
    1. Too many bubbles, like there is a mass of folks talking and hard to concentrate on anything in particular.

    2. Looks cool, but I don't see what it's supposed to represent.

    3. The G is neat, is it for "guy" though?

    4. This one I like, less comment bubbles, but still in a cool pattern.

    5. I like the implied bubble, but a little thin for my tastes.

    6. A pattern of 5s. Eh.

    7. I like this one as well. The heads talking to each other.

    So I like 4 & 7, and I'm leaning towards 7.

My thin-slice approach likes Option Four. Why? Well, it showcases the interdependence that must exist for a collection of people to become a community.

First, I concur: your designer buddy is very good. These are all very interesting designs.

Second, #3 is the one. I like that it incorporates the "C" and "G" of Community Guy as well as keeps the talk-balloon meme that implies conversation and, thus, community.

#1 is a bit much methinks.

#2 makes me think of something photo-related.

    #4 interesting but not enoughso

#5 makes me think something's missing.

#6 & #7 nice to look at but a little too abstract

So, it's #3, definitely. Nice meme that really markets YOU and what you're talking about.

For me, number 7 jumped ahead of the pack. I can see an implied "G" in that tasty little logo, and it conveys ideas of integration, diversity and the ol' yin-'n'-yang.

    1. number 6 is something i'd look at longer than any of the others.

    Thanks for the differentiation Jake!
My votes are for 4 and 6, with 1 being a close third... If I had to choose 1- it would be 6...

Thanks for the help all! I'm reading your feedback tonight and will hopefully be able to choose this week.
