    Wow. If that is for real, I'm quite impressed. I would never have thought, in a million years, that a spammer would have called off the hounds due to a blog post. I wish he would have agreed to do the podcast!

    I don't know, I'm a little dubious about the sincerity of that email. As someone who deals with spammers as part of my job, these guys have no morals whatsoever. I guess time will tell if they truly stop.

    Tommie, I'm with you. But I honestly wonder if we've sorta entered into a new domain of spamming... since this is a different kind of business model, I wonder if they do better by remaining under the radar. i.e. if they don't ruffle the feathers of the blogosphere too much, does that help maintain their overall biz model?

    Well, fantastic if they've really decided to leave you alone. Though going by my Aksimet filter over the last few days, they all seem to have moved onto my parenting blog. Given the sheer volume of spam and splogs, one might pessimistically wonder whether in terms of content the blogosphere has started to plateau with new contributors to the flow heading elsewhere.
