I'll trying posting this one in the right thread.
re: tv ads... I think the cut and paste ads do away with the hollerin' cowboy and give small business owners an opportunity compete with the big boys with higher quality ads. These ads usually run on cable on well-known national networks like espn. This does prove your point, though...an abundance of media choices lowers advertising costs and gives the little guy greater access to all media.
